The pool was nice, and breakfast was decent. The reception staff were pleasant, though the others were barely friendly. Our twin room for two was very small, and nobody came in to clean or change the towels during the whole stay. The €20 dinner felt far too expensive for such poor food, especially with no vegetables at all. Winter dishes in the middle of summer were unbearable. The price was high for the quality overall, so it was a mixed stay.

The location worked well for us. We stayed four days, and everywhere we visited was less than 30 minutes away. The continental breakfast, included with the room, was very good, and the pool was good too. The room was tiny and dated, with almost no soundproofing, so we could hear everything. The bedding was more worn on one side, maybe the mattress needs turning now and then. The TV was tiny as well, and the digital terrestrial signal glitched every 5 minutes. After a day hiking, you sometimes want to unwind in front of it in the evening. Dinner was a €20/person all-you-can-eat buffet with starter, main course and dessert, so there was enough food, but it was dry and greasy. It works as a fallback after a long journey, though there are good little restaurants in the nearby villages. The staff were friendly, but sometimes nowhere to be found. At 6 pm we wanted an aperitif, but nobody was at the bar or reception, and another guest had to shout in the lobby to get someone. Fine for the location and a place to sleep if you're not too demanding.

It's a good option if you want peace and quiet. We spent two days there while staying in the Jura region, and the setting was very peaceful. The buffet breakfast and dinner were adequate, and the waitress was really pleasant. You can also get a drink at the bar, which is nice for an aperitif. The pool felt quite cool, though, and we expected it to be warmer since it was heated. The sauna and hammam were closed because of Covid, which was a shame, but there was nothing to be done about that.

The food was abysmal, nowhere near even an ordinary canteen. There were unfamiliar fruits and vegetables and no regional products at all. The packed lunches were pathetic too, with not enough water for everyone, no fruit, just a tiny piece of cheese, and no sandwich, only a salad. At least the bread was good. The location was quiet, the rooms decent, and the pool was nice. The beds were uncomfortable and creaked at the slightest movement. The sauna and hammam are lovely when they work. Staff were pleasant, but there were too few of them and they seemed to have to do everything. If you want a drink at the bar, you have to go find someone in the kitchen.
