A handy base for seeing several tourist spots, right next to the Haribo museum, which I wish I'd had time to visit. The rooms were very clean and the inner courtyard was relaxing. It was a cute little hotel, though the service was okay and quite limited. I wouldn't travel here just for the hotel, but it's an okay place to stay while exploring the area.
The shower never got hot, and after being out for the day I came back to find long, dark hair in my bed. It clearly wasn't mine, since I have blonde locs. My curtains were open too, so I know someone had been in my room, but it hadn't been cleaned. It made me feel like they were looking for something. The food was horrible: dry, bland chicken, boxed-tasting potatoes made with water, and scrambled eggs that were hard but still wet. The eggs and bacon were cold as well. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Nice hotel, and I really liked both breakfast and dinner. But even on the first floor the Wi-Fi was terrible, and it was unlikely you'd get a clean towel without stains. :-\
We had a wonderful visit and would like to come back sometime. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was fantastic.
The pool was lovely, though its hours were limited to 8 am-7 pm, and I never managed to get a swim in. We had fun with the tennis court and ping pong table, and the food was delicious. The hotel itself was very nice.
