Gite L’Inattendu

The hosts are very cordial, and the accommodations feel nice and new.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. Carine and Olivier were warm and welcoming, and even offered us some local specialties. The village is peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing, with a magnificent view. Staying there was a real pleasure, and we highly recommend it.

Vachères is a little-known paradise in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and Gîte l'Inattendu was a discovery close to our hearts. The small village restaurant and bistro, Le Clocher Bleu, is charming too. At Carine and Olivier's, you feel at home right away. The place is cozy, thoughtfully laid out, and very well equipped. The garden around the house was beautifully kept, and the owner's dogs were very friendly. The town is historic and charming, just right for a walk. We were delighted with our stay and highly recommend the place. The photos don't do it justice! Inside, the house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, so we felt at ease, almost like we were at home. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the equipment, which goes beyond what we've seen at five-star hotels.
