10/10
The room was on the first floor over a very narrow side street, with hardly any traffic. It was clean and well kept, including the bedding and bath, and having a fan to move the fresh air around while the windows were open was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, and parking for my car was available. Breakfast began at 8am, with good hot coffee, steamed milk, yogurts, breads, croissants, and toppings. Easy to get to, too.

I’d especially recommend the restaurant for lunch. The choices were excellent, and around noon it gets busy with locals coming in to eat. The hotel itself is right in the town center, with plenty of parking, and was fine for a few nights. My room was rather dated, though the room and bathroom were very clean. Wi-Fi was available, but I had a hard time connecting on iOS; it seems to work better with Android. The official two-star rating reflects the hotel experience. You can save your money on breakfast.

We had a peaceful night at The Bell Inn and felt very comfortable there. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. The bathroom looked a little dated, but it was perfectly adequate and had everything we needed. For once, there were enough hooks for all our things.

The welcome and service were top-notch. The restaurant is in the hotel, and the food is very good for very reasonable prices.
