L'Outa Hôtel Restaurant

The most important detail is Big Ears, the adorable dog. I’m not sure if they belong to the hotel, but they sit outside looking sweet. The rooms are nice, the food is great, and the views are lovely too. Even the music in the restaurant or bar is good, with Al Green, Michael Kiwanuka, Amy Winehouse, Bill Withers, and others. I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re heading up L’Iseran.

The hallways have a unique look, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant food is very good. We arrived without knowing what to expect, but were met with kindness from the moment we walked in. Everyone working there was so nice and hospitable, and wanted to help us have a good stay. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The location makes it easy to reach several different ski areas, and the comfortable room was much appreciated. Everyone on the team was kind and helpful, and the owners know the area incredibly well. I also had one of the best meals of my time in France at the restaurant. The sauna and jacuzzi were a welcome bonus. L’Outa feels like a great mix of luxury and affordability. I had a wonderful visit and can’t wait to come back.

I spent a couple of days at L'Outa and had an amazing stay. The mountain views and alpine scenery around this small town are beautiful. The hotel is very well run and clean, with great service, and everyone I met was kind and ready to help. The kitchen was another highlight. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent, with some really special dishes. They also took the Corona situation seriously and were doing all they could to protect guests. I’d recommend this place to any traveler heading to the French Alps.
