Residence Le Petite Mont Cenis

The balcony looked toward the ski lifts, and the apartment was clean and well insulated. It was functional too, with a mini oven, two ceramic hobs, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator, enough for a week of skiing. Shops and slopes were close by, and the ski area was beautiful with ski-in/ski-out access. A group of 400 young people came to party, and the noise went too far. There was shouting, doors slamming at all hours, and garbage thrown from balconies. I understand they wanted to have fun, but there are limits. Apart from that, we met kind, helpful staff, Tourist Office representatives, and welcoming shopkeepers who were proud of their work. A huge thank you to them.

The welcome was very friendly, and the apartment was large enough for four. We stayed February 4-11, 2023, when only one area was on holiday, so it was a quiet spot right at the foot of the slopes. A few little things could be improved: mixer taps would be easier to adjust and waste less water than the old-fashioned faucets, and a toaster and maybe a raclette machine were missing. Cold air came in around the windows, so their insulation could be better. That's really just nitpicking, though.

The welcome was really warm, and the apartment was comfortable and practical. It's close to shops and right at the foot of the slopes, with ski lockers that open straight onto them. Highly recommended!

It was just as described, in a great spot by the village and right at the foot of the slopes. We'll come back!
