We spent four nights here for an extended weekend, and it was the perfect winter break in an idyllic mountain setting. We loved the meals each night, with a good mix of cuisines and local favorites like raclette. Florent cooked delicious dinners and welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived, then gave us a great rundown of the facilities and showed us to our lovely cabin, "Gypaëte". It was such a cute, cozy place to unwind, especially by the wood stove in the evenings. The little guide showing how to arrange the logs to get a fire going was a thoughtful touch. The eco-friendly dry toilets and individual washroom cubbies for toiletries also showed how well everything had been considered. We had lots of trails and lovely walks close by, and although we didn’t ski this time, getting to the resort seemed quick. Merci Florent pour l'accueil chaleureux ! À la prochaine !

This is also a great stopover for campervans and motorhomes, in case that isn’t clear from the reviews mostly written by cabin and chalet guests. The location is fabulous, and the facilities are good, with toilets, showers and washing-up sinks.

We stayed for a wonderful week in one of Florent’s lovely, cozy log cabins. It was peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature, and the location was ideal. Florent was a perfect host, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the local food he cooked. We’re already planning a return visit!

The facilities were very clean, and there’s a picnic area, a great play space for kids, a trampoline and table tennis. Staff were super helpful, and the location is great. We stayed in a beautiful yurt and read bedtime stories by the fire after days spent walking and exploring the mountains and wildlife. Sadly, there was no toilet paper, soap or toilet seats provided, which was unfortunate...

Dinner was simple and unfussy, but always filling and delicious, and we enjoyed trying traditional Savoyard dishes. Florent also sells wine to go with meals for €10 a bottle, which seemed like a fair price. Breakfast was a simple French spread of bread, confiture, yogurt and cereals. We were grateful for how hard Florent tried to speak English with us, since we know very little French. I imagine it made things more difficult for him, and we appreciated the effort. Hopefully we’ll know enough French to return the favor next time! My husband, our large dog and I had a lovely four-night stay at Florent's incredible property, and I’m already ready to go back. The cabins are a great base for exploring the area. It was my first time in the Vanoise National Park, and it definitely won’t be my last. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable, with traditional log construction, and we loved relaxing by the fire in the morning and evening. The property is very eco-friendly, which we appreciated. Dry toilets felt a bit strange at first, but they were easy to use and never smelled. I hadn’t used one before, and I appreciate Florent’s efforts to make the property so environmentally friendly.
