Cosy Er Lann was such a lovely surprise that I came back for a second stay. It’s peaceful, and the rooms are beautiful, private, and comfortable. Pontorson Train station is a 10-minute drive away, with a direct connection from Paris, and Le Mont Saint Michel is about 18 minutes away. Claire made us feel so welcome, and she’s kind and generous. Breakfast came with homemade jams, and the dinner tray she made for me was delicious. I’d happily return again and again. The village is lovely too.

We had a really enjoyable stop here on our way to the South coast of France to see Mont-Saint-Michel. There’s plenty to enjoy at the hotel itself, including a pool, an old garden, a sauna, and other activities. Such a beautiful place, definitely recommend it.

Breakfasts were fantastic, and we got plenty of helpful ideas for places to visit. The hotel feels magical, though finding your way around is a bit like navigating a maze. Its garden has trees that are 200 years old, and when we arrived Pascaline took my five-year-old by the hand to show her the little play area. My daughter can be a bit prickly, so we were impressed. The rooms are great, the location is a dream, and the family are truly lovely.

The gite was spacious, and the price was very good for the accommodation. We enjoyed our two-week stay. My one complaint is the bathroom, which felt like converted school toilet cubicles and was a long way from the bedrooms. It also had no sink and lacked any charm. A little more work to make it feel like a proper bathroom would have made the place perfect.

It’s a relaxed, very family-friendly place, and we had a fun stay at Cosy Er Lann. The property could use some care, but the new owners have lots of plans to refresh and improve it. There’s real potential here, and I’m curious to see how it looks in a few months. Good luck with the new ownership!
