The service was 10/10, and even the simple vegetarian leek starter was outstanding. The famous house beef dish was to die for, a must try if you eat beef. One of the best meals of our trip to Val d. An absolute must when in Val d.

Our dinner was delicious, and the accommodation was top notch. We stayed at Les 5 Freres two weeks ago with a group of cycling clients touring the Alps. It's a family run hotel in a very convenient spot in the middle of Val d'Isere, and everyone we met was amazingly welcoming and helpful.

I'm talking about the restaurant, not the hotel. Go, it's great value, with traditional cuisine done perfectly, and the staff really make you feel at home.

They found a table for us and squeezed us in when we arrived late in the village after a long drive through snow. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the restaurant is fabulous, and the food is simply fabulous. I've eaten here a few times and am coming back for my birthday in a few weeks. The staff are a delight.

The food was delicious, unusual and beautifully presented, and really well priced. Dinner for three with drinks was about €150 at Christmas. We loved the ambiance, the waiters' recommendations and the smooth champagne. There were no long waits, and we had a nice view of the snow and mountain from the window. It was the best food we've had in France in the past year. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. We'll be back to eat here. Merry Christmas! 🎄
