The fish-based meal had an interesting idea or two, but the flavors came across bland and the servers seemed untrained.

The restaurant is a feast for the senses, and the service there is welcoming. Just avoid sitting too close to the kitchen door, since it bangs whenever a dish comes through. The rooms are simple and laid out well. In the autumn room, though, the bathtub was quite small, the air conditioning a little noisy, and there was no teapot despite having an espresso machine. A lovely place to stay.

We stayed in the "spring" room, which felt really fresh and had everything we needed. It was spotless and very welcoming, as were the other rooms. Such a cozy place. The restaurant is gourmet, with flavors that just burst in your mouth!
