Antoine even picked up pastries in town for breakfast so the guests could celebrate my 80th birthday with me. That thoughtful moment was part of a lovely stay at Le Prieure d'Orchaise, where he made my daughter and me feel like family and made sure we had what we needed. We spent time unwinding in the beautiful gardens, too. It was our first visit to France, in mid-September, and a wonderful start to the trip. I’d definitely stay there again on my next visit.

The Loire Valley setting made for a welcome break from everyday life, and the château itself is beautiful. Antoine and his lovely team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived until we left. Absolutely fantastic, thank you, Antoine 🤩!

Antoine was the best host I’ve met: kind, cultured, and fun. The rooms and botanical garden at Le Prieure de Orchaise are lovely, and the stay has all the comforts you need, including a state-of-the-art electric car charger. Modern touches sit comfortably alongside antique pieces. A must-see in the Loire Valley. We’ll be back!

We came away feeling it was the ideal stay, and we'd book again in a heartbeat. We especially enjoyed talking with our hosts and hearing about the history of the area and the property. The house, gardens, and breakfast were all wonderful at Le Prieure d’Orchaise.

The priory and its fantastic gardens made a great home base for touring the Loire Valley. Chambord is very close by. My wife and I stayed a few nights in early September with our son and daughter-in-law, and we had an amazing visit. The accommodations were great, as was breakfast, especially the homemade jam made with fruit fresh from the gardens. We also had fascinating conversations with the hosts. Thanks, Antoine.
