ibis budget Antibes Sophia Antipolis

For around 90 euros, I expected better. The room at IBIS Budget hotel Antibes Sophia Antipolis was in terrible condition, and there were insects inside. The air conditioning dripped all night, leaving so much water by morning that we had to clean it up ourselves. Reception was no help with that or with the faulty lock on the room passcode. I stayed there in August 2025 and wouldn't recommend it.

There was no proper bathroom, just a sink in the room, and the sleeping cabins had faces on the wagon doors. The place felt like workers' rooms, not a hotel. I was deeply disappointed, especially coming with a child. I don't even have words for it.

Sonakaï, Gianni, and Amandine really made the stay for me. They were kind, professional, and so welcoming that I felt at home. I’ll definitely return to Ibis Budget Vallauris. The hotel was clean and comfortable for the price, and its location was convenient too.

The room itself was clean and fairly quiet, and the young man at reception that evening was friendly and helped me carry my luggage since there was no elevator. I’d asked for a room at the end of the corridor. Still, the hotel interior looks tired and needs updating. I was also disappointed to find that after paying, the address was in Vallauris, even though the booking name had led me to think I was staying in Sophia Antipolis. The bathroom smelled of cigarettes, and the towels picked up the same smell. I think it may have been coming through the bathroom vents. The bedding gave me a rash and a burning feeling on my skin, probably from a strong detergent.
