We were so uncomfortable that we would have checked out early if we hadn’t paid in advance. This was one of the strangest, least professional hotel stays we’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The place is actually the owners’ home, which wasn’t made clear when booking. Their young daughter was around constantly and reprimanded us once, which felt inappropriate. The owner took things personally and reacted emotionally, leaving us feeling very uneasy. There was a misunderstanding during our stay, but it was handled badly. Instead of resolving it professionally, the owner made us uncomfortable and even booked something under her own name, which felt highly inappropriate for a hotel. It should have been dealt with privately, without confrontation. From the start, the welcome felt unprofessional. I was scolded for speaking English too quickly, hurried through the room viewing, and then asked to pay right away. No one helped with our luggage, and I had to insist before getting information about parking. We also had to ask for everything, from basic services to small essentials. Fresh towels were forgotten some days, and each afternoon someone came into the room just to open and close the windows, which felt intrusive and unnecessary. There was no kettle or other basic amenities in the room. The bedroom tiles were cracked and cut my foot, and the pool loungers had no padding. For this price, it didn’t meet boutique standards.

The LOVE LOVE on the mirror sums up how we felt during nine amazing days. We’ll absolutely come back. Virginie, Laurent, and Charlotte made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, with such warm hospitality and thoughtful attention. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, organized, and perfectly clean. Breakfast was lovely, and the coffee was excellent 👌. The cared-for garden and pool, especially the pink swan, made us smile every time 😍. We also loved the serving dishes, particularly the charming plate collection 🌟. The location worked perfectly: the beach was about a five-minute walk, the town had lots of great cafés and restaurants, and the train station was roughly three minutes away for trips to Nice, Monaco, and elsewhere. We’d love to return. This bed and breakfast is perfectly placed between Antibes and Cannes, about a five-minute walk from the train station or marina and beach. The hosts made us a lovely breakfast each morning, and every corner of the hotel showed care and attention to detail. Virginie was quick and communicative over email while we booked. Our room was spacious, and the air conditioning was just right during the heatwave. We highly recommend it.

I stayed three nights in La Petite Maison, a little guesthouse beside the pool with its own outdoor seating, kitchen, and dining area. It was tucked to one side of the property, so it felt private and peaceful. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, and made the stay feel relaxed and personal. The house, calm pool, and delicious breakfast were all wonderful. This lovely boutique hotel in a quaint coastal town had the comfort and elegance of a five-star place without the fuss. A real hidden gem on the coast. Thanks for having me, I can’t wait to return.

La Bâtisse en Blanc was a dream of a place, the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe. This 150-year-old mansion has been restored beautifully, with charm and remarkable attention to detail. Everything felt peaceful, elegant, and cared for. The rooms were spotless, the garden lush, and the breakfast among the best I’ve had. Golfe-Juan is only about ten minutes from Cannes, but the hotel feels like a quiet escape. Laurent and Virginie were lovely hosts and made me feel at home. I didn’t want to leave.
