La Bastide Au Soleil

Cool.

The chalet sits in a breezy, scenic spot, and the saltwater pool was especially pleasant. The cottage was clean, well equipped, and had a lovely outdoor area. We stayed in the annex behind the main house, overlooking the pool. But a big colony of ants had got into the house, and even the owners' prompt efforts couldn't get rid of them. One evening, a field mouse also showed up in the garden. We were told in the agreement that there'd be a parking spot in the courtyard, so it felt unfair to have to leave our car on the street.

We had a fabulous family visit and I highly recommend this place. The room was spacious and perfectly clean, breakfast was excellent, and the service was great. The sea view was exceptional. Marijo and Michel were warm, generous, attentive, and always available while still giving us space.

Marie-Jo and Michel made us feel welcome and were always happy to share local tips. We spent five nights at La Bastide au Soleil, where the pool is a lovely, private place to relax and breakfast is generous with plenty of variety. Our room was spacious enough for a small child, and a travel cot was available. The sea view from the room and garden was magnificent. It’s a peaceful location between Jouan-les-Pins and Cannes, with a ferry to the Lérins Islands. The sea is about a five-minute walk away, and there are plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back, thank you, Marie-Jo and Michel.
