Domaine Saint Martin was the nicest place we’d stayed on our way down to Spain, and I’d happily recommend it as a stop on a trip. We had a very friendly welcome, and the place has a lot of CHARACTER. The room was quite nice, though it smelled a bit stale when we arrived. I wish the windows had been opened beforehand. There’s no restaurant in the village, so we had to go elsewhere for dinner. We’d hoped to stay there again in 2020, but then Covid came along. As for 2021, who knows?

We spent four nights in a really comfortable cottage on a beautiful estate that was kept in perfect shape. Our baby slept to the sound of the cicadas, and the owners made us feel very welcome. They also served an excellent breakfast. It’s a central spot for exploring the region.

Even in winter, it was a very pleasant stay. We spent one night in December, and the gîte was spotless. The owner was welcoming, and the Pont du Gard is nearby.

We were looking for a place near the Pont du Gard and came across this lovely country retreat. The warm welcome really delighted us. It’s a great base for relaxing for a few days or heading out to explore the surrounding area. You can also arrange a delicious breakfast, which at €10 per person is definitely worth it.
