Chalets DU Galibier II N°216 : 2 Pièces 4 Personnes / 2 Rooms 4 People

This was really bad. The rooms aren’t cleaned, and you can’t sleep because you hear every person inside. They also don’t want to give your deposit back if the room isn’t perfect.

The only small letdown was the pool, since the water was quite cold. Everything else was very good: the apartment was clean, comfortable, functional, and really well equipped. The surroundings were especially quiet and relaxing, and we had a wonderful stay.

The apartment was much too small for six people, and the pool was out of order for the whole week. We also heard that some guests had to clean their own apartments because the cleaning team didn’t have enough time. On arrival, we queued for an hour to check in, then found the room wasn’t ready at the agreed time. We’d arranged ski rental through the chalets, but it was across town instead of next door at Intersport, where all the other visitors go. A horrible experience. They won’t see us again!

The apartments are quite nice, and the location directly across from the slopes is fantastic. But it would’ve helped to know the sauna and other facilities were closed for renovations. The management company or whoever’s responsible doesn’t seem up to the job. Two years for renovations, what could justify that? The sofas in the entrance are damaged too. This is no longer a 4-star hotel, 2 or 3 stars at best.
