The rooms are snug but comfortable, and the views are amazing. The service was a real letdown, though. We had to handle the sheets ourselves, bringing them in, changing them, and returning them. There wasn't any soap, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, shower gel, cotton swabs, shampoo, or anything else, so we had to buy it all. The cups and knives were old and poor quality, and part of the shower hose was broken.

The swimming pool was pleasantly warm, and the location worked really well: the piste is behind the apartments, with just a few minutes' walk to the cable car. Once we got past check-in, everything was good. That part was a bit of a muddle, French-style, and we waited much too long.

There’s plenty of room in the clean apartment, and even though the furniture is dated, it’s still perfectly usable. A good chalet for winter sports, close to the piste and an easy walk or bus ride into the centre of Valloire.

There were eight of us and the apartments had plenty of space. It’s almost ski-in, ski-out, and a minibus runs from the town lifts up to the reception building.
