We had a wonderful week at the little chalet this summer, with exceptional mountain views, just what we were hoping for. It’s right at the start of the Galibier pass and has two terraces overlooking the mountains. We also came close to seeing marmots.
The views are stunning, and the cottages feel nicely tucked away, with marmots and chamois moving among the rocks right in front. They’re laid out well for a group of 15. The bedrooms are roomy and the mattresses comfortable. You can get your luggage from the parking area to the cottage on a little wheeled cart.
We took over the whole Gîte Les Réaux for our wedding weekend, including the teepee, small chalet, Gîte Les Aiguilles, and Gîte La Roche. Being so close to the chapel and having that wooden terrace made the setting even more special. The place has a real sense of authenticity, and Sophie and Mathieu were so kind. They helped make the weekend a wonderful success. Many thanks to them!
The scenery is breathtaking, and staying here felt like a complete change of scene. The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Sophie and Mathieu gave us a lovely welcome and were very friendly. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back.
For our family group of 24, Les Aiguilles et les Roches worked really well, with space and comfort to suit the young ones, adults, and older family members. We all enjoyed our weeklong Christmas break. The gîte is pleasant and practical, and its setting in the Valloire region is enchanting. We’d love to return, maybe in summer this time.
