We weren’t staying at the hotel, just stopped in for lunch today. It felt like one of those little “Mom and Pop” places that make France what it is. The set menu was excellent value: a high-quality, beautifully presented three-course lunch with an aperitif and wine. It came to €82.00 for the three of us, and the friendly service made it a great experience.

A handy stop for travelers along the main road. Seems to be popular with motorbike tourers too, there were more than 10 bikes parked out front while we were there.

The people are nice and the rooms are very comfortable. I’ve stayed twice and would recommend it.

Simple, pared-back style, and kept in good condition. Friendly too, with a comfortable, no-fuss feel.
