Lea and Manon, the owners, were incredibly helpful and went out of their way for us when a funeral, and then sickness, disrupted our plans. They even arranged a last-minute late checkout, so our baby could finish her nap before the long drive home. That was a big help. The place was fantastic: clean, spacious, and with a kitchen equipped with everything you could need. It’s only steps from the ski lift and the bus to town and the other lifts. We’ll definitely be back. I’d recommend staying here, just don’t book when we want to come, so there’s still a room for us!

We had a pleasant seven-day stay with four friends in a clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment. Communication and service were friendly and quick. The lifts and bakery are only a couple of meters away.

Lovely mountain views from the apartment.

We had six people staying, so there was plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and made up before we arrived, and there were multiple bathrooms and toilets. The kitchen was very well equipped, with an oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer, a three-burner halogen hob, and coffee makers for both filter coffee and capsules. The dining table works for 8-10 people, though 12 would feel cramped. There’s a large sofa along two walls, but it’s incredibly hard and uncomfortable if you sit for long. The bedroom Velux windows wouldn’t open, though they could be set to ventilation. There’s a garage under the apartment for two cars, plus ski and boot storage, but the boot heater didn’t seem to work. The south-facing balcony is large and sunny. The apartment is within walking distance of the ski slope, ski shop, and bakery, about 5-10 minutes, with several restaurants nearby. The free ski bus stop is practically outside the door. It doesn’t run in the evening, unfortunately, so after dinner in Valloire you have to walk back, which takes 25 minutes. The satellite TV only had French channels. You could change the audio to English, for example, but the subtitles couldn’t be adjusted.

The best part after skiing was unwinding in the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, and we also loved having coffee in the sun on the terrace. There were 12 of us, four of them children, and room 5 in the chalet was very comfortable. It had five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a nice living area, plus a washer, dryer, and ski storage. The chairlift and ESF ski school for the little ones were about a five-minute walk away, and the shuttle to Valloire stopped just outside. Walking trails were nearby too. Léa was always on hand to answer questions and help us out. We had a fantastic family holiday in February 2022.
