Valloire itself is lovely, with lots for children to do and spectacular surroundings. I visited about 20 days ago and rented a studio for a week. It was generally clean, but the mattress covers were really filthy and so was the terrace. I’m very sorry, but I managed by putting a double duvet under the sheet. When I left, I was meant to return the key to the rental office by 10 a.m., but the office was closed and no one was there. Luckily, a man driving past told me I could put the keys in a box beside the office. Nobody had told me about that.
