We really recommend staying with this host if you’re in the Ardèche. The cottage is roomy and charming, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. He knows the area well and gave us useful tips, including a warning about the waterfalls having no water. He was welcoming and thoughtful from the start, getting in touch before we arrived to sort out the details, then waiting for us with a drink. The next day he even brought us coffee.

We slept so well in the quiet, and having our own little outdoor terrace was a lovely bonus. The cottage is nicely decorated and has everything we needed. The kitchen is shared with the owner, but he gives you space and stays discreet. We had a great stay and would happily recommend it.

We loved having breakfast and dinner on the upstairs terrace, which is both pretty and practical. The cottage is charming, very quiet, and in a great location. The owner decorated it himself, and he’s friendly and accommodating. The air conditioning was brilliant, completely quiet and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Thanks to the owner!

The apartment was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a lovely, quiet weekend and were greeted warmly with juice and cookies. Highly recommended.
