We booked for five people for two weeks, but only after checking in did we realize one room had a twin bed. That meant two people were expected to share a bed, something that hadn't been made clear when we booked. We asked the front desk right away if it could be changed to two single beds. The receptionist said she'd check with the manager and get back to us. The following day, we were told they couldn't change the bedding because of “the system,” even though many rooms were empty and all that was needed was a mattress change. The other option was to “upgrade” by making a new booking, with no refund for the original one. One of my friends has serious sleep issues, and sharing a bed with someone you're not close to is uncomfortable, especially for a long stay. We explained that clearly. The only answers were “It's the system” and “If everyone asks for this, what are we supposed to do?” It felt like the hotel would rather leave guests uncomfortable than make a small effort to solve a reasonable problem when rooms were available. Really unpleasant experience, with a disappointing attitude and no flexibility. I wouldn't recommend it for groups or longer stays.

The resort was lovely and clean, and the staff were respectful and helpful. Ms. Sarah deserves a special thank you for helping us even after her working hours. We really appreciated her kindness and dedication. Getting around was easy because the resort provides free train tickets to Chamonix city center. I also asked to add an extra day to my stay, and that was approved smoothly. Great service. The resort allows pets, which might not suit everyone, but it didn't affect the cleanliness or comfort of our stay. We had a lovely time and hope to return.

I wouldn't recommend this at all. The receptionist said my 300 euro insurance amount would be returned to the same card the next morning, right after I left. I never got it back, and feel that I was robbed of it.

The apartment was a good size and the location worked well, so our stay had some positives. But maintenance was a major problem. The sofa bed mattress was badly misshapen and couldn't be used by two people. The pool water was too cold, especially the room around it, and lots of guests complained while we were there. The gym was in poor condition, and things in the apartment were falling apart, including kitchen items, decorations and lamps. I also couldn't reach reception by phone before our stay, even during their stated opening hours.
