Staff service deserves five stars. Our spacious room had a nice view, a fridge, a safe, a table and chair, and a sofa. There was shared air conditioning, and the bathroom was a good size, with a bath-shower, large mirror and stone tiles.

The restaurant deserves five stars, while the hotel is more like three. It looked very attractive at first, and the staff were all pleasant. Our large junior suite was overpriced at 150€, though, and on closer inspection the place felt shabby. Water wouldn’t drain from either the sink or tub, and the toilet area smelled of urine. Breakfast was nice, and dinner at the restaurant was very good.

The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. We asked if breakfast could be served an hour earlier, and everything was ready for us. The buffet was extensive too. Thanks, guys!

The restaurant was fantastic, and the staff at Hotel Helvie gave us one of the best hotel stays we’ve had. We loved every moment and would really like to come back one day!

We really liked the restaurant, which lives up to its one-star Michelin ranking. The hotel itself has lovely Art Deco style and is in the thermal quarter, and the staff were very friendly.
