We already knew the chain from another city and stayed one night here. Ours was a one-bedroom apartment, so we made a simple dinner with food warmed in the microwave and had breakfast in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable, though on the firm side. The hotel sits on the outskirts, near a big supermarket. There were a couple of coffees in the room, which worked for us, since breakfast at 12,5 eur/person for four of us would have cost 35% of the room price and didn’t make sense. I’d definitely return, and would still like to try the breakfast.

That buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise: lovely bread and pastries, local honey, eggs, specialist teas, plenty of jams, fruit, cheeses, and cured meats. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knew their stuff. The rooms are basic, but have what you need, including a comfortable bed, decent bathroom, and simple cooking facilities with crockery and cutlery. Remember, this is an Appart'city, not a hotel, so check what that means if you're unsure. The old centre of Vannes is about a 30-minute walk. We’re fit over 60s, and found it pleasant at the end of September, though winter could be less appealing.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. The place is functional and spacious, though the ventilation is noisy, the views from the windows aren't great, and I would have liked more care with the details and cleanliness.

The bathroom is huge and feels luxurious 😃. The place looks almost new, and it's very clean and spacious. The kitchenette is tiny, but has everything.

Getting downtown was easy, and the place was very quiet. The rooms were okay, but the mattress was uncomfortable.
