This was a lovely, very clean studio, with comfortable bedding and a great location, just five minutes from the city center. Perfect for a holiday. If we come back, we’ll choose carefully and avoid a studio under the eaves, since the low ceilings can be uncomfortable if you’re tall.

I lived in one of the student residences for three years of university, and leaving Vannes at the end of my studies was hard. I felt at home in the apartment. It was pleasant, very clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed, plus excellent Wi-Fi. The owners were friendly, understanding, and always available when tenants needed something. The area was safe and quiet, and the location was excellent, close to everything, especially the historic center. Free parking just a minute away was a real bonus.

For young couples, be aware that this landlord doesn’t allow your partner to visit occasionally if you’re a student. He’d rather your “boyfriend/girlfriend not come and disturb you during your studies.” If you want a boarding-school atmosphere, this may suit you; otherwise, expect the landlord to show up regularly in the entrance hall to tell your friend it’s time to go home. Sometimes he waits until the end of the day to see whether students arrive with someone. He was thinking of putting a camera at the entrance to monitor people coming and going. Maybe he’s done that by now.

The harbor view from this studio is lovely, and the location is excellent. Free parking is just a minute away. Inside, it’s very clean and laid out perfectly. The owners are friendly too.
