ibis Paris Porte de Vanves Parc des Expositions

We had a great stay, and if we make it back to Paris, we’ll definitely stay here again. William at reception was really nice and made a great first impression. The neighbourhood felt very safe, and the station was close enough. There’s a Carrefour express nearby for snacks, plus late-night food spots for yummy kebabs. I can’t recommend the place enough! 👏

We’d happily come back. Staff were friendly throughout, and the place was great value. The rooms are compact but clean and well laid out, with a lovely modern bathroom. Air conditioning was a lifesaver during the summer heatwave. Breakfast was simple and good value, and the little garden with outdoor seating was a lovely place to eat it. It’s in a quiet residential neighbourhood with great rail and metro links into the city. There’s also a fantastic, affordable pizza place right across the street. Highly recommend if you’re watching your budget.

The kind, generous service from the staff, especially the morning and afternoon teams, made a real difference to our stay. One was a friendly Caucasian woman and the other an African descent gentleman. I’ve been to Paris five times and this is my favourite hotel so far, even compared with the Marriott hotels we’ve stayed at across zone 1. The hotel is in zone 2, but the subway is just a three-minute walk away. I also got to explore Vanves for the first time. It was beautiful, the locals were friendly, and we felt safe. It was quiet, and this is where we felt we really got a sense of French culture, in the food, place, and hospitality. Our room wasn’t very big, but it was comfortable, clean, and cozy. I’ll recommend it to friends and family.

The rooms and service were outstanding for the price. My room was spotless, thoughtfully set up, and genuinely comfortable, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to help with a smile. Getting to popular sights took around 40-60 minutes because the hotel is outside the main tourist area, so the location may not suit someone who wants to be in the middle of things. Public transport is accessible, though, and the hotel offers excellent value. A fantastic option if you’re after a comfortable stay at a reasonable price and don’t mind the commute. I’d gladly return and recommend it.
