We hadn’t planned to stop, but this place was a lovely surprise on our cycling trip along the Loire. The welcome, cleanliness, and quality were all great, and the price was very reasonable. A real breath of fresh air in the countryside.

Marie-Hélène was friendly and attentive, and her gîte is under 2 km from Château de Vair, which worked well for our wedding visit. It sleeps up to five people plus a baby: there’s a double bed, a travel cot, and in the living room a 160 cm queen bed for two along with a single sofa bed. The kitchenette has induction hobs, a microwave, and a refrigerator, so we could prepare meals. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. Everything was spotless, with the beds already made. There’s also a private ground-floor terrace and parking for one car. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

The apartment was clean and in good shape, but I was surprised by how many gnats and mosquitoes there were. They seriously interfered with my sleep.

The owners were charming and made us feel very welcome. The cottage apartment was spacious, clean, and practical, with tasteful furnishings and decor. Highly recommended.
