The dinner in the old courtyard was lovely, and the food was better than we expected. We only stayed one night for our anniversary, since we live nearby and wanted a little break without going far. We’d had lunch at the Domaine years ago, before the building had seen so much investment. The countryside setting is beautiful, especially the sunflower fields. Our room was lovely, too. The pool looks gorgeous, though its blue tiles can be slippery and it’s deeper than it might seem, so take care. We could bring our drinks over to the pool, which was great. Everything felt like good value, and we’ll come back when we want another close-to-home night away.

10/10
The restaurant was the real highlight for me. Every meal was a treat, beautifully presented, and the chef’s skill came through. Domaine de Vareilles also turned out to be a very good value. The hotel was spotless, and the reasonably priced stay still came with top-notch service and amenities. After exploring the lovely countryside, I found the cozy room a welcome place to unwind. The peaceful, natural setting added a lot to the stay. I left with a great impression and would recommend it for its food, clean rooms, scenery, and value.

The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and we had a lovely short stay. We also tried the award-winning duck, of course. I really liked how they restored the building while keeping its distinctive old features and charm.

We were just passing through, and this was such a great find. The restaurant alone made the stop worthwhile. The hotel has plenty of charm, the staff were kind and accommodating, and our room was well appointed.

10/10
The restaurant is what stayed with me most: its dishes bring local flavors together with real finesse, and each meal left me thoroughly satisfied. The rooms have a rustic feel and were a comfortable, peaceful place to return to after exploring the countryside. There’s thoughtful attention to detail throughout the hotel, and the staff’s service felt genuinely warm. We were treated more like friends than visitors. Set in the picturesque French countryside, it makes for a charming retreat into the area’s culture and food.
