The surroundings were lovely, but the service left us very disappointed. We had booked a six-bed apartment and were handed one with only four beds when we arrived to collect the keys. Nobody offered financial compensation, so one of us had to sleep on a mattress on the floor, without a closet or anywhere to put clothes or suitcases. We were also asked for a 45-euro cleaning deposit that hadn't been mentioned when we booked, and we got no receipt. We stayed for a week, didn't cook or use the kitchen, and left the apartment tidy and spotless after sweeping and vacuuming. Still, when we left, the person in charge kept the cleaning money, saying it wasn't as clean as on the first day. We couldn't understand that, given the condition we'd left it in. The apartment was provided on terms we hadn't agreed to, and one person slept on the floor. Keeping 45 euros on top of that felt abusive and completely unprofessional. Disgraceful.
