Gite La Mouree

The owner kept in touch and responded quickly, and we loved having lounge areas where people could spread out, spacious bedrooms, a sunny terrace, and games in the common room. We spent four days at the ECRINS and LODGE accommodations with a group of 24. The kitchens were fully equipped and the amenities complete. We all loved it, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for groups of more than 20 as well. What a wonderful discovery! PiR B from Grenoble

The only small issues were that the sauna was out of order and the foosball table needed some maintenance. After 10:00 PM, noise has to stay at a reasonable level in the residences and outdoors because the neighbors are close, though the games room is soundproofed enough to enjoy. We had a great stay at La Mourée gîte for two nights with 34 people, spread across the three available residences. The hosts were attentive and quick to respond, and everything was well equipped and impeccably clean. We were comfortable throughout.

The games room, jacuzzi, and big terrace with its magnificent scenery were the highlights of our week at La Mouree. We booked the whole site, and it was clean and ready for us. The staff took care of all our requests, and the owner was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.

The electrician only showed up as we were leaving. The electrical panel was a complete mess and apparently had been installed by the owner himself, which made it seem like a safety hazard for everyone. This stay was awful. We rented the cottage for three days with exclusive use of the wellness room and games room, but the wellness room lights and sauna didn't work. None of the three heaters in the games room worked either, and the pool table was barely standing. Some terrace paving stones looked ready to give way under our weight, which was extremely dangerous, and there was a small height difference of a few centimeters that kept catching our feet. Inside, the clothes dryer didn't work, the stovetop was broken, and the dishwasher was out of order. When I raised these problems, the owner was immediately disrespectful and condescending. He later softened, said he was sorry, and promised to refund a certain amount, saying this was normal, but I received only half of what he'd promised. His contempt was appalling. The last phone call was a real ordeal: he wouldn't listen or let anyone speak, and was incredibly condescending. I ended up having to apologize for his cottage not working properly. I strongly advise against staying here, especially because of this disrespectful man. Avoid at all costs!
