The food and service both stood out compared with other places in Vars, and the staff were professional. It’s a warm, cosy restaurant with really good value all round. We’ll come back next time.

Breakfast had a limited selection, but the local farm products were high quality, and dinner was delicious too. The evening meal did feel a little too expensive next to the other meals we had, even though it was very good. Room prices seemed fair for the location, service, and cleanliness. The rooms were clean and cosy, and the whole place has a lovely wood look and cute decor. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. It’s directly between Vars and the Pass, a good spot for motorcycle riders.

We came across this lovely chalet restaurant by chance and were wowed by the view. The tarte aux pommes was the best I’ve had. Highly recommend it.

The view is fantastic, and the service was so friendly. We only stopped for coffee, and the prices were reasonable. We’d happily stop again.
