The location has a couple of pluses: it's just a few minutes' walk to a place where you can ski to the nearest lift, and there's a parking garage space for a reasonable fee. The kitchen equipment, cookware and pans were fine, and a small, damp ski locker was included. But the apartment was very basic and a bit worn. The beds and sofa bed were really uncomfortable. It's meant for four to six people, yet there's seating for only three on the sofa, and the tiny dining table is a squeeze for six. For the quality, the prices are very high.

The best part was how close the accommodation was to the ski resort, just across the road. The apartment was very clean, and bed linen and towels were included at no extra cost. It had basic appliances like a microwave, oven and washing machine. The woman at reception was extremely kind :)

We had a good stay. The apartment was warm and cosy, with an oven, microwave and the other appliances you need. The staff were friendly, and the slope was only a few hundred metres away. WiFi was slow, but it did work. I'd recommend the place.

We spent two nights here during the Tour de France, and the location in Vars was good. On arrival, there was nobody at reception, so we had to ask around town for a while before we could reach the owner. Once we finally spoke, she managed the practical details and spoke English reasonably well.

It could have been nice, but we had only cold water for a whole week. There were six adults, no one at reception, and nobody answered the calls. A disaster.
