The owners were friendly, and my room was clean and comfortable. I had the lounge area to myself, with herbal tea and coffee available there.

The breakfast was the highlight, with fruit, homemade jams, and croissants. The mirabelle plum jam was especially lovely. The hostess gave us a warm welcome, and the place was quiet and relaxing. The shared bathroom and toilet are something to keep in mind, and the bedding could do with an update.

The family room worked perfectly for all of us, with a really comfortable TV lounge. Nicole was lovely and made us feel very welcome. It was a great base for exploring the three castles as a family, and very good value. Thanks so much, Caroline.
