There were a lot of problems with our room, including a large puddle of water that the hotel left unaddressed for a full day, and staff were slow to deal with the issues. The choices for food and drinks are extremely limited, and even getting drinking water is difficult. For the kind of place this hotel aims to be, it needs quite a few changes. I'd look at other options nearby.

After 13 hours of travel, we went straight to our pristine, stylish, cool, comfortable rooms. The bathrooms were immaculate and the beds huge. The gardens are relaxing, and the pool area feels very private. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were delicious. The staff were extremely polite and friendly despite our pigeon French. The receptionist even came out to greet us like old friends. This oasis is tucked away in a beautiful wooded spot behind St Paul de Vence, though it takes a few minutes to find. We'd recommend it to anyone. It's child and wheelchair friendly, just amazing.

This works especially well for a large group renting the whole hotel. The facilities are great and the service was excellent. We were very happy with our stay, and thanks to the staff. I'd have given five stars if the WiFi hadn't been slow and unreliable, which matters especially in these hills where mobile connectivity is poor.

I had a really bad experience here. The location is in the middle of nowhere, and my taxi cost three times the usual price to get there. When I arrived at 1am, the receptionist seemed stressed and annoyed that I was late. I came to relax and instead felt very stressed. The service was poor and unprofessional. I asked about breakfast, but the receptionist didn't check and told me it wasn't included. He said I could pay €25 if I wanted it. I was confused because I'd booked a suite, and the room was disappointing too. The shower had very weak water pressure. In the morning I walked past the breakfast room and saw the selection. It looked poor, and I didn't think it was worth €25, not knowing that breakfast was actually included in my booking. I then went to the spa and Jacuzzi, but had to run out because the room smelled so bad. The Jacuzzi was very dirty and the water was yellow. By 10:30 I was too stressed to stay and went to check out. A different receptionist asked how breakfast had been, and that's when I learned it was included and her colleague had been wrong. She told me I could have breakfast, but when I went in, all the food had already been thrown away. I said they should serve me because I'd paid for it, and she offered only a coffee. I was obviously pissed off. She said, “I'm sorry Madame, you're too late for breakfast,” which made it sound like I'd missed it through my own fault. But her colleague had told me it wasn't included. They didn't do anything else, just offered a leftover croissant. I really don't recommend this place.
