The five-course dinner in the beautiful dining room, with its wide mountain views, was the highlight of our time at La Bastide Perchée. The owners recommended private Chef Pierre, and it was the best meal we had in Provence. We’d happily recommend him for an intimate dinner. We also loved how spacious, clean, and comfortable our Cocoon room was, especially the bathtub my fiancé enjoyed. Snacks and drinks in the room were a thoughtful extra. Ronan welcomed us warmly in early July and explained the property in detail. The weather was fabulous, and the location and grounds were lovely. Thanks, Ronan and Fanny!

The hosts were so friendly and gave us great tips for exploring the area. We had a lovely romantic stay, with a very comfortable room, an incredible view, and a breakfast that was fresh and homemade. We had an amazing time and I highly recommend it.

The views from the property were beautiful, and getting around without a car was easier than I expected. The walk into town wasn’t far, and there’s a bus from town that stops at several places, including Aix. One evening, they lent me a bike to get to a restaurant that would’ve been a longer walk. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, making lots of reservations for me and arranging a car for my departure. A very nice stay.

Breakfast was fantastic, all homemade, with red berry muffins, granola, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, and more. A very helpful, pleasant young woman served it. We also appreciated Ronan’s advice when choosing a restaurant. We stayed one night in the Cocoon room and felt right at home, thanks to the tasteful decor, magnificent room, and superb views over the garden and Mont Sainte-Victoire. Ronan gave us a personal welcome, and the pool was lovely in its stunning setting. We highly recommend it!
