Months after booking, our accommodation was canceled just two weeks before we were due to arrive. They offered us a terrible alternative. The host can't be relied on. Never again.

The hostess was lovely, and breakfast was fine, with bread, croissants and yogurt. We had a double room plus a separate children's room with two beds. The rooms have a practical vintage look that suits the old building, and the bathroom was small with a few minor flaws. It's a beautiful, authentic B&B in a historic building with a lovely garden. Compiègne is a nice city with lots of restaurants, about a 10-minute drive away.

Martine really looked after me, especially at breakfast. The jams and cheese were a highlight. The place is quiet and comfortable, a peaceful little escape. I was there for a week-long business trip and loved my stay, including our morning chats. The hostess was remarkable, so kind and attentive. It felt like a beautiful meeting of souls. Thank you so much ❤️ Cécile

The warmth of the hosts, the spirit of the house and that cozy fireplace made our artist residency in this peaceful haven wonderful. I don't think the pen has ever flowed so smoothly across the pages. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. We're already looking forward to coming back.
