We loved the lovely hostess, thank you Lorraine, and the delicious breakfast. The house is charming and very dog-friendly, with a beautiful garden and a stylish room. It’s in a prime spot near Fontainebleau. Highly recommended.

The private jacuzzi was perfect, huge, and looked out over the garden with the Seine in the distance. There’s a shower in the room too, if you need it. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh, delicious things the owners prepare for you at whatever time suits you. The house is magnificent, and the garden has a breathtaking view. Everything felt peaceful and charming. We had a wonderful time and felt completely on our own, while knowing the owner was there if we needed anything. A little slice of paradise.

We had the upstairs Joséphine Suite, and the decor was refined, with elegant furniture and objects chosen with a subtle sense of taste. Lorraine, the owner and a former antiques dealer, has a real eye for beautiful things. Her husband, a veterinarian, always has plenty to tell. The owners gave us a very friendly welcome, and we spent a wonderful weekend in an extraordinary setting. Having breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace facing the Seine felt magical. It was an unforgettable stay, with sumptuous decor and exceptional accommodation. We highly recommend it and will undoubtedly return, this time booking the downstairs room.
