We were five families with lots of children, and the foosball and ping-pong tables were constantly busy. The kids' large sleeping area was especially cozy. Sixteen of us could sit comfortably around the big table, and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, pans, and pots, plus raclette grills and a cheese fondue set. There was also a tarte flambée grill and a BBQ outside, along with a washing machine and dryer. The stone oven in the kitchen couldn't be used. Everything else worked well and was clean. The spa area, with a sauna, indoor hot tub, and outdoor hot tub that you heat yourself, was fantastic, although it takes many hours to warm the outdoor one. One small drawback: just one towel per person isn't really enough when you're using the spa.

You can walk straight from this peaceful gîte onto hiking trails, and there are no immediate neighbors. It was also quiet inside, with good soundproofing between the dining room and bedrooms, so we all slept well. We spent a wonderful Easter weekend here with the whole family. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the place was practical and well furnished, with plenty of crockery. We tried the barbecue, pizza oven, and the spa, and had no complaints. Everyone, young and old, had a great time. I highly recommend it.

Christmas 2024 with the family at The Customs Officer's Farm was idyllic, and we even had snow. The accommodation was very pleasant, the bedding was good quality, and the decorations included a beautiful, large real Christmas tree. We had everything we needed, and the spa, sauna, and Norwegian bath were top-notch. I highly recommend it.

There was plenty of snow during our weekend at La Ferme du Douanier, so the children had a fantastic time sledding, sliding down the slide, and building snowmen. We were there to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday, with nine adults and eight children, and made great use of the sauna, jacuzzi, Nordic bath, pizza oven, fireplace, foosball table, and other facilities. The farm is spacious, with a well-planned layout and thoughtful design. We loved it and I highly recommend it. I hope we can return someday!

Everyone left with wonderful memories after our family wedding stay at this farm. The place was perfectly maintained and had everything we needed, from good dishes and clean rooms to made beds, a sauna, jacuzzi, and thoughtful decoration. The children loved the "chicken coop" dormitory, the table football, and the outdoor games. Breakfast from a local bakery was delivered to the door early in the morning, and the sunny outdoor space, with no vis-à-vis, made it feel like we were alone in the world. Mr. Vigneron was welcoming, available, and kind. It was a magical stay in an exceptional setting, and we wished we could have stayed indefinitely.
