We had such an easy, relaxed stay here. The rooms are lovely, and the setting is beautiful. Didier is a wonderful host as well as a great chef, with a dedicated team around him who are always ready to help. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. The food was delightful, too. I’m already trying to find another excuse to stop in this charming hotel and town 👍👍👌

The wine was fantastic, and the daily special was excellent. We also enjoyed two of the three desserts. Our short stay and dinner were very pleasant, with excellent attention and service. The fish couscous and a few other dishes weren’t quite balanced, though, so I’ve given four stars.

The menu offered fish, beef and lamb, and they were happy to adapt it for the vegetarian in our group of five. The food was delicious, portions were generous for the price, and the wine list, cocktails and aperitifs all offered plenty of choice. We were seated at a table that was ready for us, and the appetizers started arriving soon after. The welcome was warm and helpful, too. From the outside, Hostellerie Bourguignonne might not give much away, but step into its beautifully decorated garden and you know you’ve found something special. It’s lovely to come across places like this in an area with such good local produce, and to see it turned into great food without needing to travel far.

A really nice stay. If you’ve traveled around France, you’ll appreciate having air conditioning in the room and a shower that closes fully.
