We were quickly at home in Gîte La Bergerie Baroque, a lovely place with spacious bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, a terrace, and a pool. The owner was easy to communicate with before we arrived and gave us a great welcome. It’s in a charming little village, well placed for exploring Aveyron, Millau, the Roquefort caves, and the Gorges du Tarn. The villagers were really kind and welcoming too. We came away feeling recharged for months.

Quietly set yet close to the motorway, La Bergerie Baroque gîte is about 10 minutes from Aguessac. It’s spacious and well equipped for four, with two bedrooms, two shower rooms, and two toilets. There’s a small private pool as well as a larger pool shared by the two gîtes.

We stayed in the "Le Jardin dans le Chêne" gîte for the Templiers Trail, and it turned out even better than the photos. It’s laid out beautifully, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, with everything we needed and really comfortable beds. It worked perfectly for two families with children. The heated pool and terrace were a lovely extra. The host was friendly and flexible with our schedule. Millau is easy to reach, with the motorway five minutes away and the town about 20 minutes away. I’d strongly recommend it for a few days in this beautiful region.

The pool area is lovely for a swim or some sun, and the welcome was warm and generous. "Le jardin dans le chêne" is peaceful and charming, with clean, functional, pleasant furnishings. A great place to unwind.
