The garden is a little gem, and there’s plenty of space to linger. At the far end, you can walk right along the Rhône. Breakfast is generous, and dinner can be booked too, with everything prepared really well and good wines to choose from. Francis and Horia looked after everything and were lovely hosts. Even though I’d accidentally booked the wrong arrival date by a month and the house was full, they found me a nearby replacement through their connections with other hotels. It’s a lovely place for a few days, or even just a stopover.

We had drinks in the huge garden beside the Rhône, and you can reserve a place for dinner there too. The owners cook the delicious food themselves. From their warm welcome to the lovely atmosphere of the chateau, the care and positive energy they put into the place comes through in everything. This felt like France at its best. I’d definitely return if I get the chance.

We’re cycling the Via Rhona and ran into serious bike trouble. Francis, our host, was incredibly kind and went out of his way to help us late in the day. He got everything sorted in time for us to shower before dinner. The chateau-style place itself is one of a kind in rural France, with beautiful gardens stretching down to the Rhône. The early morning light, dew and mist over the river really stayed with me. MERCI BEAUCOUP!

Francis and Horia are such lovely hosts, and they cook delicious regional food for you. The chateau has been fully renovated and sits right by the Rhône. I’d highly recommend booking a room here if you want to stay somewhere this lovely.

A quiet little oasis after a crowded autoroute, with a beautiful view and surprisingly good food cooked by the host. Parking was good, too. The owners were helpful and charming. Superhosts! Just the right place to relax.
