We only had one night, but it was a lovely stay. The fresh, local breakfast was clearly prepared with care, and the champagne tasting made the visit especially memorable. The B&B has beautiful, modern, stylish decor, and our host made us feel at home with such a warm welcome. Highly recommended!

Thea was a wonderful host, and we had a 10/10 weekend at L'empreinte in Verzenay. We rode their e-scooters through the vineyards, relaxed in the hot tub, and got a great restaurant recommendation. There’s so much more I could say about this cozy little gem and its personal feel and attention to detail. We slept so well in the comfortable beds, and the rooms were lovely. Breakfast was fresh and nicely made. It’s also a champagne house, and their champagne is well worth trying. We brought a few bottles home. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you again 🤍

The village is very quiet, with hardly anything going on, so you’ll need a car to get to nearby Reims or Epernay. We were there during harvest season, though, which may have contributed to how sleepy it felt. Aside from that, we had a really good stay. Thea was very kind and took care of everything we needed. After a welcoming glass of their own champagne, we even got a short tour of the winemaking facilities in the cellar. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the vineyard view from the breakfast room was beautiful. Thea also made us a REALLY good breakfast.

The owner was very helpful with information for the next leg of our trip, including lunch stops and places to see. We also enjoyed the tastings, and there’s a very nice pizza restaurant just around the corner. We were even able to fully charge our electric car overnight. The location is great for the champagne route, with large, clean rooms and a very comfortable bed. There are all the amenities, plus extras like a jacuzzi and sauna, with amazing views across the valley. Breakfast was included and served on a beautiful sunny terrace.
