U Castellu

We’ve already stayed at The U Castellu twice and are planning a third visit. It’s an exceptional place, and we’d highly recommend booking. The owners, Sybille and Mathieu, give wonderful service that goes above and beyond, and suggested places to eat, beaches to visit and spots to explore around the island. The room decor is impeccably designed, and every detail feels thoughtful, from that lovely design to the fresh breakfast each morning. We love watching the sunset over the water with a glass of wine. You’ll love every minute here and won’t regret booking it.

The sea view through the trees was so lovely that we ended up spending most of our first Corsican visit at the hotel, enjoying the room and pool instead of heading out to explore. It’s a beautiful boutique place just outside Propriano, with modern comforts and everything kept pristine. The open-air reception feels like a living room, and the whole place has a homey feel. Mathieu was attentive and easy to reach by text whenever we needed help. We also worked remotely for a day, and the internet never let us down. A peaceful spot for a quiet break or a bit of work. We’ll be back!

We found this quiet apartment a great base for getting around southern Corsica. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and those typical French viennoiseries each morning were a treat. We loved our time here and would happily recommend it.

Sybille was so kind and helpful, taking time to suggest restaurants, beaches, and things to do nearby. We loved the relaxed feel of the place too, with lovely design throughout the rooms and shared spaces. Our room looked out over the sea, and breakfast on the big terrace each morning came with a beautiful view of the landscape. The rooms and pool area were all very well cared for. U Castello was one of our favorite places during our time in Corsica, and we had a wonderful stay.
