Le Clos de Bourginel

The family room was beautiful, practical, and thoughtfully laid out, and there’s a dream of a pool for relaxing. Laura clearly loves making her guests happy. She was such a pleasant host, always looking for ways to make our stay better. Breakfasts she prepared were generous and varied, with local products. The setting is magnificent, and it’s a great base for discovering the charms of the Dordogne. We had an idyllic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

There are so many pleasant little corners around the property to settle into. Our room was welcoming, spacious, and very well equipped, too. Laura and Serge were attentive and generous, and they were happy to share their knowledge. We felt at ease right from the warm welcome. Laura loves putting together varied, hearty breakfasts, and she goes the extra mile. A really lovely stay. Definitely recommend!

Laura’s tips for visiting the Périgord region were excellent and helped us make the most of our time there. We were warmly welcomed into their charming home, and Laura took care of everything to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. The two bedrooms are extremely comfortable, the pool is superb, and breakfast was both delicious and generous. We highly recommend it.

The pool was just right for unwinding after a day out exploring, and the thoughtful touches on arrival and during our stay were much appreciated. We had lots of places to visit nearby. Le Clos de Bourginel is such a peaceful retreat, with spacious, beautifully decorated rooms. Breakfast with local products was a treat. We had a wonderful time with the kids, and would recommend it to families or couples.
