For the price, I can see why people might book it, but the breakfast was rough. The bread was defrosted, cheese meant Laughing Cow and Babybel imitations, and there were just a few slices of ham, some jams, juice, and petit fours. You had to cook your own scrambled eggs in a pan with oil, and the pan was already cooked onto if someone had used it first. The room feels tiny and stuck in another era. Reading is pretty much out: there are two outdoor spotlights instead of a lamp, and they work together or not at all. The bathroom is awkward to use, and the shower setup looks like a genius came up with it. The tray is something else. Turn on the hot tap and the water is scalding, and you can't switch between the can and the shower head. Pretty astonishing for a three-star hotel, though the price is reasonable, which makes more sense after staying there.

The mattress was comfortable and the room was clean, but we won't be coming back. We didn't even try breakfast, we just wanted to get home. We usually come to Rennes for nights out and tried this place for a change from the neighboring B.H. It was €10 cheaper, but we would have been better off staying elsewhere. The room was small and dated, with barely enough space for two people to move around the bed. Outdoor lamps had to do as reading lights, and the bathroom felt dangerous because the toilet was right in front of the tub. We could hear all the hallway noise at 6:00 AM, with no soundproofing. The website photos showed gorgeous rooms, so we believed them and were really disappointed.

The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to respond. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we could choose our pillows.
