Camping Les Jardins D'Elsa

A great place to camp.

We really enjoyed our one-week stay. John welcomed us, and he’s the kind of host anyone would be glad to have: an extraordinary person who’s always smiling. The campsite was peaceful, the pool was great, and several times we had it to ourselves because there weren’t many people around. The beach is 800 metres away and town is a seven-minute walk, so there’s really not much to complain about. A small laundromat and mini supermarket would have been useful additions. Still, we had a great week. Thanks so much to John, and maybe we’ll see you soon.

A small, friendly campsite where children can make friends quickly. The remote control and/or code needed to enter or leave the site makes it feel safe to let them play freely. Young children are protected by a child lock at the pool entrance, and they can run around on the artificial grass without slipping. It doesn’t get hot, and they love the slide. Since it doesn’t end in deep water, even little ones can use it on their own. The accommodation was dated but adequate, and units are renovated every year, so you might get unlucky. The beach is within walking distance, though a stroller isn’t recommended; a wagon works fine. The sea is calm, the beach is lovely, and there’s a beach bar where you can rent sunbeds.

We got a very warm welcome and were really happy with our stay. The site has a swimming pool, and the sea is 600 metres away, with two routes to choose from. There are several activities around Vias for both adults and children. The accommodation comes with dishes, air conditioning, a microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. There’s Wi-Fi on site, but we couldn’t get a proper connection, even with our 4G. There’s no washing machine, so if you haven’t paid extra for linens, bring your own. Remember to do some grocery shopping before returning to the campsite, both for food and supplies for the mobile home, like cleaning products. Thank you.
