Our mobile home, number 52, had a great view, and this is a very dog-friendly place. We had a lovely time with the friendly service and tasty burgers. The facilities were only okay, but the view made up for that.

We booked one week in our tent on an emplacement espace pitch, level with the pool, and ended up staying for a second. The setting and views from the tent were stunning, and the weather was glorious. The pool and bar were just right and better than we expected. Facilities were spotless and hardly ever busy. Jean Louis and his team did everything they could to help everyone enjoy themselves. Some of the entertainment got a bit noisy because people were having fun, but it wrapped up at 11, so it wasn't a problem. We'll definitely be back! The Murray family, Norfolk (formerly the Cantal).

The wash, shower and other facilities were good. I was there for three nights alone with my dog in a campervan, and used the electric hookup, which needed a two-pin adapter cable. My pitch was number 81: worn out, with little or no grass, and it would have turned to mud if it had rained. Luckily, it stayed dry. The French couple in the static caravan next door argued, and their children were noisy. After Saturday's changeover, the next family was much the same. With the pools, this felt like a noisy, kid-oriented site. I had to find the pitch myself, up a very steep, dirty hill. I was told I couldn't drive back down the narrow, twisty road to reception and should use the top exit for re-entry. I didn't know the road layout, and the site map didn't show that route. The bar staff spoke little English, which led to a pizza mix-up. It was cold by the time I picked it up, as I'd thought they said it would be delivered. Reception staff spoke great English. I walked the local trail up to rocher des pendus. Three stars is generous.

Excellent.

We were welcomed warmly, and the staff were both helpful and efficient. There was lovely entertainment with music, singing, and magic shows featuring Jean-Louis the magician. The campsite sits in nature, with cows grazing nearby and their bells to lull you to sleep. Thanks again for the welcome and help, Pascal.
