Chateau Ol Puech

Our guide Joël knew an incredible amount, like Wikipedia, but without the boring reading. The boss was very approachable and friendly, and the waiters and waitresses were always smiling, ready with a little joke for the group. From the moment you arrive, you feel good. The rooms are a good size, with perfect, clean bedding. The swimming pool and I accuse pleasant. The food had good flavors all week. I hope to come back one day. It's a peaceful place, without pollution, where you can only have a good time. Well done, Rudy, driver of the Pas de Calais bus 🙃

I went along with a group of seniors, and this felt like a family-run guesthouse. The owner was cheerful and extremely helpful, and our welcome was very warm. The guide was fantastic, and the program suited us well, with lovely breaks. I think it's one of the top three choices for seniors on vacation, and a great base for exploring the Cantal region. The common areas are pleasant and have an old-fashioned feel, though modern amenities make the stay easier. There are elevators to the rooms and other facilities. The pools and spa are lovely and comfortable. The food was plentiful, and the seagrass matting on the stairs to my room felt just like home. Maybe the nighttime toilet flushing was the one drawback. I'll definitely return. A truly wonderful getaway.

The manager was always available, the waiters and waitresses took good care of us at meals, our guide was engaging, and the bus driver was very skilled. Thanks to the whole team, our week was so enjoyable, with everything in place to help us discover the Cantal region in the best conditions. We had wonderful surprises throughout our stay.
