The service was super friendly, and the location was fantastic. Our room was clean, with old-style charm and a modern update. There were different pillows to choose from, blackout curtains, windows that open, toiletries, and a fan for warm nights.

There are plenty of things to criticize at Hotel Riviera: lots of stairs even with a lift, a broken window patched up, and single-pane windows. Still, the location is ideal, the service is courteous and helpful, and the staff are genuinely kind. Above all, the cleanliness was impeccable, really exemplary. Some hotels with higher ratings could take a lesson from that. I’d happily stay here.

We had a very pleasant weekend during Ironman. The welcome was warm, friendly, and helpful, and the service was very decent for the price and rating. A few small details could be better, but they didn’t get in the way of our stay while exploring Vichy. Thank you.

The owner was attentive and genuinely present, and the hotel is well run with plenty of old-world charm. Breakfast was quite decent, though a savory option such as St. Moret cheese would have been a nice addition 😊. I’m sensitive to the cold, so an extra blanket would’ve helped 😁. I slept very well 👍
